We hold an annual staff and family bbq, team building activities and pub outings.Our studio building is based close to Norwich city centre, under 10 minutes walk from the train station and Norwich City Football Club.What is the role?To be considered for this role you must be confident and able to display experience with the following:HTML/CSS/SCSSJavascript/jQueryBespoke WordPress developmentTailwindAPI integrationsBitbucket/Version controlExperience with Laravel (not critical, but beneficial)Ideally, you would also have experience in:Database management, optimisation & administrationServer deployment and maintenanceDomain managementBeing a technical lead when it comes to decision making for the greater good of our clients' businesses and usWe realise it may be a lot to ask, but in addition to the above skill sets, it is important that we find an individual that is pushing boundaries and is a problem solver, who does not require deep supervision but communicates well within a team.Day to day tasks include:Front and back end development of web products in line with agreed design and specificationsDevelopment of existing web applications for digital marketing, usability or security purposesServer maintenance and supportDevelop to high quality coding standards with a core understanding of PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML and CSSSupport of all client websitesScoping and quotations for all bespoke developmentsResponsible for maintaining project version control, coding standards, branching and deploymentProactive management of servers, scripts and software to ensure the prevention of unnecessary downtimeOn call services as per rota if requiredMaintenance and renewal of SSL certificatesProtection of all client data in line with the Nu Image GDPR policyTransfer, renewal and record management for client domain namesTechnical lead support for all business activities and team membersProduct handover and technical documentationMonitor competitor activity and implement tactical department progressions and advancement to keep us aheadCould this role be for you?We are a drama free, relaxed, family run studio, but we don't want you so chilled you are laying down, especially in this fast-paced role.
