Mid-level Laravel Developer

We're looking for a mid-level PHP developer with strong Laravel experience to join our remote team. You'll work across backend and frontend development, helping us build, maintain, and improve our platform.This role would suit someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code, working independently in a remote environment, and contributing to both technical implementation and product quality.What you'll be doingYou'll be working on our Laravel-based application, building new features, improving existing functionality, integrating with REST APIs, and helping maintain a reliable, well-tested codebase.You'll also work on frontend experiences using Vue.js or similar modern JavaScript frameworks, with opportunities to contribute to UI quality, accessibility, and user experience.What we're looking forYou should have:Strong experience with PHP and LaravelExperience with JavaScript and Vue.js, or a similar modern frontend frameworkConfidence building robust, user-friendly frontend experiencesExperience working with REST APIs, third-party packages, and deployment workflowsExperience writing unit and integration testsFluent written and spoken EnglishThe ability to self-manage, communicate clearly, and stay organised in a remote teamGood attention to detailA willingness to learn, improve, and keep your skills sharpNice to haveIt would be a bonus if you also have experience with:Tailwind CSSTest-driven developmentWeb standards and accessibilityUX, typography, or graphic design principlesDocker or other containerisation toolsKubernetes or similar deployment infrastructureWhat we offerRemote workingSalary of £50,000–£60,000, depending on experienceSupport for professional development, including conferences, training, and local meet-upsSupport for tools and technology, including software licences and training programmesA role with autonomy, variety, and room to growPay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressWork from homeWork Location: Remote
