The headline project for this role is helping us modernise a large internal client CRM/system, alongside other exciting projects across our portfolio. One of these projects is built on Laravel with Doctrine, so experience with Doctrine would be a real advantage.You'll have the opportunity to:Play a leading role in modernising a substantial client CRM/system.Build high-quality web applications using Laravel and PHP.Work across both back-end and front-end (Vue.js or React).Work both independently and collaboratively as a valued part of a talented team.What we're looking for5+ years' commercial experience with Laravel and PHP.Strong front-end experience with Vue.js or React.Experience with Doctrine (one of our key projects uses Laravel with Doctrine).Confident using AI as a core part of your development workflow - we use Claude and Cursor day-to-day.Able to shape development plans with AI, critically review AI-generated code, and use AI to build effectively (rather than just accepting suggestions).Confident with Git/source control and modern deployment processes.Passion for clean, maintainable code and following best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communicator, comfortable discussing technical solutions with the team and clients.Able to work both independently and as part of a team.Good project management skills.Nice-to-HaveFamiliarity with Laravel ecosystem tools (Forge, Envoyer, Vapor).AWS experience (S3, EC2, EKS, Lambda).What We Offer£37k – £45k salary (depending on experience).Private health insurance.25 days holiday + extra company holiday between Christmas & New Year.Flexible working hours and fully remote role (UK only).Pension scheme.Growth & training opportunities (including access to Laracasts).Supportive, collaborative, and talented team environment.ImportantThis role is fully remote, but you must be based in the United Kingdom.
